Alternatives 1, 2, 3 and 5 lets us have a list of online users in the channel userlist on IRC.
Alternatives 3, 4 and 5 makes it easier to tell which org people are in.
It is also possible to use channel modes on these pseudousers (say, voice to guildmembers, nothing to guests), so that you'd be able to tell if someone is in guild or guestchannel.
